Civic Ledger has processed its millionth verified payment, a milestone reached less than three years after its first council contract.\n\nThe platform handles parking, licensing and housing payments for eleven local authorities, reconciling them against finance systems that in some cases predate the internet.\n\nThe company said two further authorities go live before the end of the financial year, and that it is preparing an application to a central government procurement framework.
